Ingredients:
- 60 mL Bombarda Culverin or Drake Rum (2 oz)
- 22.5 mL Orange Curacao (¾ oz)
- 30 mL Fresh Lime Juice (1 oz)
- 15 mL Orgeat (½ oz)
Method of Attack:
- Combine all ingredients into your cocktail shaker
- Shake with ice
- Strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned glass
- Garnish with a lime wheel

This Mai Tai recipe is a slight adaptation on Trader Vic’s (the inventor of the mai tai) recipe from 1944 - excluding the now rare and hard to find Wray and Nephew rum and upping the curacao in place of the rock candy syrup (which is also known as rich simple syrup - a 2:1 simple syrup).
